ULOG DAY 15: "FLY WITH LIMITS"
My sister in the US sent this picture to me that was taken during her outing with her husband. I don't know where this place is taken but I am assured she enjoyed the place. She is very happy in her life now as it is her greatest dream before. She is blessed for having a Christian and selfless husband. The happiest day in her life was during her wedding day. I never thought she could have a fairytale wedding because during the pre-time, we only saw such wedding arrangement in celebrities and movies, but it happened in her life finally. She is a girl for keeps indeed because her faith to finally meet the one was as stronger as the mighty stream. These days, I could feel the happiness and contentment in her face everytime we talk. I could see the glitters in her eyes. What more could she asks for, she has a faithful husband and God.
Remembering the prior times during innocent days, she was discouraged to find true love. She lost in her ways and I sometimes heard her complaints why she never had a happy life unlike her peers. I felt her insecurity for telling me she was born unfortunate for having a miserable life. Until one day, she met a friend who became her closest friend. Her friend introduced her about God. Suddenly, she met a guy which is her husband now through that friend who is a Christian too. Her friend and her husband are the angels in disguise used by God to gain Him back.
If we lived in mesirable days, the Lord will always find a way. One of His ways is using people. Always welcome the people warmly that have arrived today because it has purpose. You may not know how it moves 'coz His works progress in mysterious ways until we will learn soon. As part of His purposes is to draw us closer to Him when we are at too distant. He welcomes us back when we are lost.
Why do we live in miserable life today? Because of our dreams to fly higher but we fail. Always remember that the helicopter can be crashed down if it flies without control. Fly slower until you can reach the top. Fly like a plane who does not goal to reach the highest part of the earth because dreaming too much means falling too much. Begin a realistic dream, not the unrealistic one to ever reach success. While doing it, be humble to met the barriers crossing on trails because our success is measured by how many struggles and adversities we have come upon.
Be humble to fly, know your limits, learn to welcome the measures, & humble yourself to the Lord for in James 4:10 , it says:
"International Standard Version
Humble yourselves in the Lord's presence, and he will exalt you."
Amen.

With him and in him, all things are possible. I love how her life and story got changed through the encounter.
This story has just motivated me. I have been slipping on my faith. I know that I should not. It is not easy and these are trying times but I will come out victorious.
Focus on your faith don't lose hope. Always pray. Good that your sister is in a better place. That way she can help you and your family more.
