Good morning
Good morning is the first aid
For those who go to bed
With heavily laden heart
From thoughts of debacle
Those who take a leap into the night
With tiny fragments of trust
Left in their hearts to give
Those who say goodnight yet enveloped
In fear of what dawn might bring
Good morning is the first line analgesic
For those with aching hearts
Induced from emotional collateral damage
Those whose bodies hurt due to
Physical assult emanating from
Domestic and self abuse
Those who submerge their pillows in tears
But can't share their tribulation
For fear of being judged
Good morning is the breakfast
For those starving of love
Whose belly crave
The tickling presence of cupids butterfly
Those who need assurance that
Their time emotion and sacrifices
Wouldn't count for nothing
When the sun sets and darkness beckons
Those who are famished
From several joirneys that didnt take them home
