Ulog post 004; I HAD AN ACCIDENT TODAY. STEEMIANS, THANKGOD FOR MY LIFE!

What happened today made me truly realise that one doesn't know what might happen the next minute.

Good evening guys! Please ThankGod for my life. If it were not for God, maybe I wouldn't be alive today... I had an accident today, I thank God it was not that serious. Read on to see how it occurred.

How It Happened.

Immediately after leaving my lodge this morning, at about some minutes to 9:00am, I called my citizenship lecturer and asked him where I could meet him to submit my group's project work that was printed out yesterday. He told me where to meet and I hurried there. I entered school and was heading to where he asked me to meet him, but I met him just some feet away from my school's gate doing something in his car. I greeted him and gave him the project.

He collected it and said he would come to our class by 12pm for the defense, then we parted ways. I was with my church's banner. Since I am the P.R.O of my fellowship, NABCAF(Nation Builders Campus Fellowship), its my duty to always hang our banner in school every Thursday morning because of our fellowship for that day and take it back home as soon as we dismiss. I hung it, my mum called me, we talked. Then I headed to class.

The Accident.

As I walked to the motor park where I would enter a bus going to my faculty, I kept on soliloquizing whether to board the bus or not.. As I made up my mind not to board the bus anymore, a guy who owns a bike and is also in my department but in a different arm passed, and I quickly stopped him. We greeted and as started moving. As we were conversing while on the bike, we hadn't even reached 1km when I spotted a pothole, so did he and he tried to avoid it. As soon as he avoided it, he couldn't gain balance anymore, so he swiftly changed the motor cycle's direction from left to right but he still couldn't get the balance and immediately, we fell off the bike with force and got ourselves injured...

I got injured on the back of my palm, elbow, knee and toes. Together with the internal injury. I felt pains all over my body. I even smashed my phone.

People immediately gathered us as usual and were telling us "sorry".

After its occurrence, I just thanked the lord that no vehicle was coming behind us, because that would have made the accident fatal. That road is really narrow, and if there was any vehicle behind us, it would have taken only God's intervention for such vehicle to have avoided hitting us both..

So, I quickly rushed to a chemist to have some medication.

After that, I went home to change my clothes since the incident tore the white long sleeve i wore to achool in the morning.

Back To Class

As soon as I finished, I hurried to class for my project defense with no joy. As I got to class, many guys noticed that i was limping and had an injury on my hand. They showed concern and I thanked them. I am the group treasurer of my my group( that is for citizenship project work.. The one I submitted in the morning). So I called my group members and told them what was on board for our project and how much each person are to pay to collect his own copy of the printed project work, to read against the upcoming defense. Many started complying why some said the money was too much, and me, being that i had no joy in me before coming to school after that incident, started shouting at any one who was against the money being paid... We argued and argued and argued, i almost got into a fight with one of them but I was withheld by other niggas.

So in the end, we arrived at another price and people started paying and after everything, we still didn't defend the project. We all departed and I went home to have some rest. My girlfriend visited, I told her about it so she cooked for me, helped me massage the wound. After that, I ate and slept for a while.

I am sorry i didnt say this earlier,y girl Friend and I have reconciled.. Thanks to all those who assisted in advising me on what to do. Much love!

So, as i was saying, i later woke up and went to take my bath. I pray tomorrow would be better than today.
