Ulog - Witness Trout Interview
Started writing this ulog pretty late in the day and with old age this can be problematic. Can't remember where the day started off at. We're still in the same day -- as in I'm not writing this tomorrow and pretending it's today. So let's have a go at it and if these day things get too confusing, well, #snookmademedoit.
Since today technically started off before I went off for the night at a time which could possibly be yesterday, I'm going to tell you that I achieved a great thing immediately at its onset: the witness server was updated from 0.19.11 to 0.19.12. It didn't require a replay or anything to further deter the break in the day one would take for sleeping or otherwise passing out while reading crap on one's phone.
The witness server was updated at 12:10 am. I know this for certain as, like every good witness, I bragged about it immediately to fellow witnesses. Just because. It's a thing we do. If we don't inform each other then it never happened. And these things, they have to happen. This update here, what it does is only affect nodes that ran the version 0.19.10 and then .11 code. Steemit Inc got some minor issues resolved in a timely manner and .12 was released.
Checked my mail this morning right off the bat, nothing positive there. Waiting on invite acceptances or rejections. Typical turnaround time is a week or two so no surprise. Sent an email to another Youtuber who'd be a good addition to the ecosystem here in a mutual sort of way, would liven things up. Checked Twitter, jumped onto the Discord of another group, talked up Steem some. That's what I do when I can. Talk up Steem. Not all that easy to do when half of Trending is ads and the other half is announcements. Interestingly enough, most of the good posts on that page belong to fellow vets.
That covers up until noon or so or about three coffees. Talked about the Leafs with a neighbor during lunch. The Leafs have a chance this year but of course we all know there's really no chance. Everyone hopes they won't shit in their helmets and let us all down again this year but we all know they will. It's inevitable. Like 6 months more of winter weather when that groundhog sees his shadow. Or crap on Trending.
Second part of the day was spent on random catch up. Got the next announcement squared away. Watch this space or the space next to this on this remote area of the blog. Draft logos for GuiltyParties came in, ran these by the partners. Made some changes. Had a good talk with @derangedvisions who made me this sick title image here. Going to put that one on the site.
Fried up a rainbow trout for supper. Did an interview with @snook while that was going on. You know, when you get to my level, you get this uncanny ability to multitask at extreme levels. Extreme multitasking. You can fry a trout while recording an interview. Watch it here. Be sure to have your volume on max.
Day ended while I was writing this up. Still need to get a few things squared away before turning in.

volume on MAX when listening to you being interviewed? you are diabolical but like you anyways or is that because you are diabolical.
Okay folks.. since this guy wont say it.. I will.. VOTE for him for witness. He does some great work for the platform
I'm merely passing on the best listening practices I accidentally observed while listening to it.
Thanks a lot, appreciate it.
Finally a Witness post I can understand!! :D thanks for the interview !
You're welcome, it was a pleasure.
The actual trout was bigger. Got some good fillets off it.
lol. Can't resist that the cat is hungry too.
That was an insightful interview! So glad to finally hear your voice.
I'm glad it was everything you dreamed it would be.
Still need to get a few things squared away before turning in? This is amazing.
I'm around until 1am on an average day.
Hello @guiltyparties reading your blog sounds very hectic and fun day nonetheless. You seemed to juggle so many things and getting them all squared away. I watched the video the questions were funny but I didn't get to hear your response to those, I can only imagine how hilarious they were as the lady was really cracking up so hard.
Enjoy your day and have fun! thanks for the laugh.
You know me well enough to guess how I'd respond by now.
