Ulog 48 Siargao Island #1 top surf site in Asia
Siargao Island is regularly rated as one of the top 10 surf sites in the world.Wherever you go on Siargao, the sea is omnipresent. Siargao is very nice and very relaxing Island, no wondering why Foreigners living now there and have their own house and business, yes! Mostly foreigners living and staying there like more years and more like a permanent , or maybe it really is. It such a nice to see that they love the Island that much, other foreigners already know how to speak siarganon language or bisaya language there :) . Most of the celebrities here in Philippines also stay here in this Island for vacation, and I witnessed it when we were there :) ..
We were staying in General Luna which is the popular tourist area of Siargao, which has surfing and a beautiful coastline. We were staying there like 6 days, I forgot which resort we were staying at but we had free breakfast everyday which is really nice :).
CLOUD 9 ( surfing area)
Cloud 9 is the name of the most famous wave in the philippines, which you can do surfing here and thet have also beautiful resort here I don't know how much but maybe it is a bit expensive because mostly celebrities stay there.. They said from November to April it's thick, hollow tubes to make it deal for surfing when the waves have plenty of swell . You can rent surfing board any where in this Island and as what they have said professional surfers compete on Cloud 9 during the annual Siargao Cup, an international surfing competition, and can assure you that they make it effortless.
Tayangban Cave
We went to Tayangban Cave, I don't have any pic of there since it is kind of scary and super dark inside, you can scream inside because it is really scary and bit stinky haha!.
Alegria Beach
We went to Alegria Beach which is really far from where we were staying at, it took 1:30 mins by motorbike, but it's really worth it cux it is nice there , the white sand and the crystal clear. There is a quite a bit of reef here but still the water deep us enough to swim in which is not too common on this Island.
TAKTAK FALLS
Which close to Alegria, it took only 10 mins to get there. The falls is too deep, and for me is not really good to swim since the color of the water not really good looking or nice, I like blue water falls or a clear water falls but this falls is different for me, there were no other tourists just a few locals who swim or having a family bonding there..
Magpupungko Tidal Pool
A super nice view, the water is so clear and clean, this is a natural pool where you can so swim. A natural pool that protects its swimmer from the strong wave coming to the ocean and they said during low tide the enclosed underwater create natural sea water pool that seems like infinity pool .
We had an Island hopping the next day to visit and to witnes the beautiful Islands , Daku Island and Kawhagan Island, they're nice though especially the kawhagan Island which has a sand bar and nice spot to eat because they have nice and great food . Actually we've been 3 Islands but I forgot what Island was it lol. But don't really missed the kawhagan and Daku Island they're beautiful and has a crystal clear water :) .
Sugba Lagoon
The last hopping was the Sugba Lagoon which we did a Kayak and snorkeling , you can also do diving here which you can see my picture at the top of where I stand
.. That's all I hope you were having fun reading my ulog :) .. I WOULD LOVE TO RECOMMEND YOU TO VISIT HERE IN SIARGAO ISLAND
