Ulog4[19:08:18]/Gratitude: A day at the cassava processing factory
A popular saying around my location here says:
The best living life can be found at the village
This saying is actually true because the feeling of living around a farmland is always good especially with all sort of food available to eat.
Food might appear in plenty in farm but they still remain raw which requires some processes before it can become finish goods.
A typical example of a common farm produce you see is the cassava which can be process into different food items. Food such as garri, yam flour (Amala), fufu, among many others are gotten from the processed cassava tubers.
I was able to walk my ass down to one of the cassava processing factories. I met women and children on ground doing the needful to get a derived and suitable result.
The cassava has be peel off, it is ready to be transferred into the machine for grinding or soak into water so that the cassava will be soft for processing.
The plastics drums are been used to store and soften the peeled cassava tubers. All those drums have already house the peel cassava and they will be there for sometimes
The above picture shows myself alongside at the local cassava processing factory in my area.
As food is very essential to the body building which helps in providing necessary nutrients. We can only appreciate the effort of those working so hard here to provide those food to our table. Of course, they earn living also after sales.
You had really enjoy watching how those cassava are being locally processed, there was a flowing water at the side of the factory. They got the water they use for washing and soaking of the cassava there. Cassava maybe be soaked for between three to four days depending on how fast it soften.
Gratitude to all farmers in the house. People like @ewuoso @papa-pepper among many others keeping livestock's or having a farmland. You are really working to feed nations.
