ULOG: Day 9 ~TOPS : Nature's Gift to Us~

Been looking for a place to escape the mundane buzz, hassle, and noisy weekdays of my life when my friend invited me visit the Top of Cebu or "TOPS" as what the aborigines always calls it.

It just opened last August 2017 so it's still barely a year old but a lot of tourist already flock to the place to experience the exhilarating view of the city and its buildings and enjoy the serene place with its very fresh and cold air on one of the highest peak of Cebu.

As we were still traveling to the area, the breeze was already cold and it was still 2P.M. in the afternoon! In contrast to the city we just left behind where we were torch with the blazing heat of the afternoon sun. To be honest, the road that we have to pass to arrive at the place scares me for it is too steep for me. I am afraid that the motorcycle will fall anytime but thank God we survived it!

When we arrive at the place.. Everything was worth it! With P100 entrance fee we went inside. The TOPS was the place Ive been wanting on for so long. Just the chill breeze dancing around us, toying us to inhibit and soothe all the stress I have in my body. My mind was refreshed and renewed as the nature embraced me. Everywhere was just a lush of forestry, green majestic mountains, beautiful flowers everywhere, the clouds boasting it's masterpiece infront of me , curing my ever tired eyes from the whole week of work and the great view of the city and its building that looks so calm and friendly from afar in contrast from its reality.

We arrived at 3P.M. and we stayed till 8P.M. As the sun had set without disappointing us with its beautiful ending, the colder wind replaced the place and the moon steadily waking up from its sleep. The place was covered with darkness but the TOPS did not stop from there. It again had amazed us with its hidden beauty that Night can be as enchanting as the day. The city was ablaze with lights. Like small fireflies that we rarely see today. Twinkling like the stars in the vast universe. I cant help but smile of the beauty infront of my eyes while my mind was playing the ever hopeless romantic fool it always dream. How romantic this place will be for lovers.. But for now, I have this place with my friend and we cherished every moment.

We went home late at night already but with a renewed heart. Tired but satisfied. Blessed and hopeful for another challenges Im going to face. Thank you God for blessing us with your masterpiece.
