ULOG: 23 "Visit Sukoharjo Sritex Factory, MPR Chair Supports National Industry Entering International Market"

During a visit to the PT Sri Rejeki Isman Textile (Sritex) garment factory, Sukharjo Regency, Central Java, Indonesian MPR Chair Zulkifli Hasan said he supported the national industry in entering the international market.

On the occasion, Zulhasan appreciated Sritex's achievements in a local industry that was able to compete in the world market and was trusted to produce military uniforms around 31 countries including standard uniforms for member countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

"I am amazed at the history of this factory, whose origin was only a small textile shop in the Klewer market and is now transformed into a giant factory that is global and able to absorb 50 thousand workers," he said, Saturday (09/22/2018).

"It is pride to see that the local industry is able to be global, I appreciate and support to continue to achieve global products so that they are more developed and bigger," he said.

Zulhasan emphasized that Indonesia needs local companies such as Sritex, whose export market is very large and able to absorb a large workforce, thus opening up large employment opportunities.

"We came to this company as a form of support and hopefully become a good example for other local entrepreneurs in various regions in Indonesia to be more enthusiastic and ultimately able to grow and become big for the progress of Indonesia," he said.
