The people united will never be defeated

Hey, fellas. Sorry I was disconnected from steemit yesterday and today. The day was strong at work and in the city. Today was a day of protest. As I mentioned, I work at the Universidad de Oriente, a public university in Venezuela.

As you also know, in our country we are going through a terrible time and all because of the government we have. In all these years they have wanted to close or take over the universities, which they have not been able to do, but in recent months they have gone right to the target to give it a stake and that is the budget and the salaries of the workers.

For any institution to function fairly well, it has to have some resources for maintenance, and those resources have not reached the universities. The same goes for wages: any wage in this country is low and inflation consumes it. I mean, they're slowly drowning and killing us.

We know that anything the government does will be to the detriment of the universities, because they are not interested in having smart, prepared people. The government needs ignorant people who depend on a purse, a miserable bonus and the alms that they can throw out into the street as if we were beggars.

Friends, Venezuela can't take it anymore.
