ULOG #33: SIQUIJOR ESCAPADE

This is my first post after almost a year of absence here steemit. My post is about our escapade in Siquijor Island, for most Filipino, Siquijor is well-known as a mysterious other-world of withcraft because this tiny Island is famous for dark magic witchcraft(mangkukulam)they make ointments for ailments, but in my post I will show you how beautiful this place is.

Now, lets go to Siquijor! 😍😍

I took a pic as a memory that I was there, that I became a part of that beautiful place.😍

This pic was taken in siquijor port and I cant help myself to amaze how magnificent it was.

Our next stop was in Balete tree. West of the village of Campalanas is a tremendous balete tree (banyan tree), estimated to be 400 years old and believed by some to be enchanted.

In front of the tree is a spring-fed pool filled with carp-like fish – droop your feet in where you can have 'fish spa' for free. At first it was tickling but you will get used to it in time.

Take the high road, its far less crowded. 👌

Hapitanan is located along the road in Lazi town. Since Siquijor is well known for its
folk stories about witchcraft, your trip wouldn’t be complete without having a photo while flying on a broomstick. I am a witch riding with a broomstick.

Enough with the witchcraft, lets go to CAMBUGAHAY FALLS, and lets ourselves be refreshed with those dark magic stories.

Cambugahay falls is just steps just across the road , you will just have to go down to a stairway looking forward to popular swimming spots of siquijor. You can use a rope swing to fling yourself into, which was my favorite part of coming here.

The fee for swing is only P20 and its unlimited so you can swing as high as you can on a swingset .

Lastly the last spot of our Tour!

SALAGDOONG BEACH, one of the famous places in Siquijor because of its beautiful sea and ofcourse the cliffdiving, but I wasnt able to do the cliffdive since we arrived there when it was Lowtide, and that was the saddest part cause I really love cliff diving, the excitement it gives me makes me feel alive and kicking. ☺

Still, it was worth it cause the bluewater make it up for its loss.

Here we are the FORESTCAMP, before we went to swimming we took pictures first in every places that was alluring in our eyes.

Solo picture is requisite in this adventure, well who would be late be in this field? Hahaha! 😂

Furthermore, I cant hold myself to take picture in a wishing well, and ofcourse to the famous Caldron.

Im ready to be boiled alive. ☺ Just kidding, the water was cold that I dont even want to go in, but I still did coz I dont want to miss every single thing that I might regret later.

Swimming time with this cold place, cold as your relationship, ✌✌and also the end of our Siquijor and Dumaguete trip.
