Had tough times. And now the war has broken into my country. Was reminiscing good times and recalled this platform. Discovered it when I was a student at the very beginning of it. Not sure how life is going on here since then, but will try to post something here.

The biggest change is that SteemIt was acquired by Tron, which is owned by Justin Sun.

A large number of SteemIt users left to create a platform called HIVE. There is a large Ukrainian community on HIVE. You might find your old friends on HIVE.

There are several hundred sites that interface with the Hive Network.

NOTE: to use the hundreds of sites on Hive, you will need to install something called Hive-Keychain. There is a Steem Keychain as well.

Steemit itself is largely an outpost for the Tron network.
