Rutger announces to the world
they'd best not tangle
with his masculine perfection

My entry is a bit late, because I just found out about this contest, but I wanted to post it all the same.

Love the alternate syllable counts. I'll post on time next week.

It made me laugh too, because in 2010, when my husband and I visited Ukiah, it was during dinner at the Ukiah Brewery, when reading their sign reflecting backward in the window, that I realized that Ukiah spells haiku backward.

I highly recommend the place, should you get a chance to visit, as it has great food to go with their great brews.

Rutger, as should be obvious, is our rooster. He is a Blue-laced Red Wyandotte, and yes, he knows that he is gorgeous.
