It's interesting to see the New York Police department freak out about this killing.
New York has more than one murder a day. Manhattan has more than one murder a week. My best guess, is if they can't actually find the real culprit they'll find somebody to blame it on before the case gets cold. It's unacceptable in our world to let the general public think that he can get away with crimes against the important people. It's interesting that people are already calling it an assassination. You all instinctively know that one of the ruling class was killed. Just as politically significant as the killing one of the royal family in the days of old.
Do I think there will be an explicit conspiracy to frame someone? Maybe maybe not, but there will be zealous investigations and when they examine enough angry letter writers and enough cases of people being wronged by United healthcare, they will use circumstantial evidence and top-notch district attorneys to convince a jury that this is probably the guy that did it, through tricks of psychological framing and scope bias that are endemic to the way we do trials in the United States.
Out of all the people that have been wronged or outraged by United healthcare. There are millions. They will find somebody that fits profile and can be cast into the part.
