The "Rolex";
Be sure to stop by a roadside vendor to taste this Ugandan special. It's called a "Rolex" , ( not in anyway related to the watch), because of how it's prepared.

How it's prepared;
The basic version is prepared by frying an egg or eggs and then rolling it/them in a chappati.

Rolex was coined by ghetto gangsters and is especially enjoyed as a fast food majorly by low income earners.

Of late however, even restaurants have begun including on their menus and even serve it in various varieties eg the chicken rolex, meat Rolex and so many others.

So don't hesitate to grab yourself one when in the hood!!!
