It's finally here.
With the current internet where everything we search on google and share on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter is tracked and used for advertisement targeting while our privacy is being violated is not fair. For example in the recent case where Cambridge Analytica and two other firms misused personal data of more than 71million Facebook users to develop political propaganda for the UK and US. These large corporations like Facebook, Google have monopolized the market, bought potential competitors in their markets just to maintain their dominance.
There are currently several decentralized products out there in social media, cloud storage, online shopping, and examples include FILECOIN(cloud storage), DTUBE(free video content like youtube) etc.
So from cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology to Decentralized internet.
