Americans mark the 17th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that claimed almost 3,000 lives. They honor all who lost their lives and those who served to protect their nation, Americans of all races come together as they will never forget all those who sacrificed their lives. Many of them took to their social media accounts on twitter and facebook as one of them quoted "today let’s forget politics and parties to remember those lost and forever affected by the tragic events of #September11th. But also the heroes, the first responders who showed courage and strength in the face of darkness and despair. A blessed day of remembrance to all the Americans
