What's next for Conor McGregor?

This is often disscused question in the ufc community. What's next for Conor McGregor? The most reasonable seems to be a fight with the interim champ Tony Ferguson that would unificate both belts in lightweight division and makes clear who is the real and the only champ. But this is the most reasonable fight only when it comes to the subject of rankings and interim belts. From another perspective there is also another most reasonable fight. And that fight is trilogy with nate Diaz. This fight makes the most sense when it comes to the question of money. And money profit is what ufc is focusing most, I guess.

So, will it be the Ferguson or the Diaz fight? I personally would bet on the Ferguson fight. First of all, I think that Conor want to shut those people, who think that he is no chamption at all because he never defended his belt in the ufc. He is very competitive person and he will want to proove that he is the real champ. Sencond, if he unifies both belts and defend his title, he will be free to choose his next opponent for the next fight. A then he can do a trilogy with Nate Diaz. Which would be a money fight.

I think this is the way that Conor would choose. One fight in a perspective of rankings to proove that he is the real champ. And another fight would be a money fight. And he can chage those two types of fights all the time and nobody can say a word. He can fight Tony Ferguson and unifies both belts, then he can fight Nate Diaz as a money fight, then he can defend his title against another top ranking challenger, then he can fight GSP, and so on and so on. And everybody would be happy.

There is also another guy who speaks about Conor not very respectfully. That guy is Max Holloway. He is a featherweight champ, he beats Jose Aldo. He lost to Conor via decision. Only him and Nate Diaz lost to Conor via decision. Other guys where just knocked down. So it could be very interesting fight. But I think that this fight will never happen. In my opinion, Conor will never drop down to featherweigh again. He is aiming for the lightweight and maybe for the welterweight division. The process of dropping down the weight is not easy and Conor will rather focus on other challenges. His work in the featherweight division is done, although some people think that he just ran away. I personaly don't think so. I just think that Conor consider his work in the featherweight division closed. There is no challenger nor money in that division. So he is looking forward new and better challenges.
