Too much time to burn TV Binge
So this is for anyone who cannot decide what to watch on TV like me. I have a little baby and have time to burn so compiling this list for anyone in the same boat. What i watched so far:
WESTWORLD
Storyline
Westworld isn't your typical amusement park. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park allows its visitors to live out their most primal fantasies with the robotic "hosts." However, the robotic hosts have evolved an artificial consciousness that is similar to, yet diverges from, human consciousness. No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park's guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged; but there is a price to be paid.
Verdict: I was slightly confused to start with. However really got into it. Not sure I can stomach past 2 seasons of this.
MARCO POLO
Verdict: This is one of my favourite series. Always loved anything to do with Khans and Marco Polo. Brilliant enthralling watch. Lots of power struggles plots killing. Gripping and tense. Where is season 3!!!
LAND GIRLS
Storyline
Follow the lives, loves and highs and lows of four members of the Women's Land Army who are working at the Hoxley Estate during World War II.
Verdict: You might ask why the departure to a ww2 series. Well Daughter was sleeping earlier in the night. Easy watch. We needed our drama call the midwife type fix. As good as it gets when choosing a ww2 type series. A little gem.
THE GOOD WIFE
Storyline
Alicia Florrick is the wife of a former state's attorney for Cook County. He has been imprisoned after a sex and corruption scandal. Alicia must deal with the public humiliation. She must also fend for her two children. After years of being a housewife and mother, she returns to work as a litigator at the law firm Stern, Lockhart & Gardner. She must now prove herself in the courtroom.
Verdict: Just at the end of season one. This is a great little series. If you need something to get your teeth into this is the one. Brilliant idea.
Writer 1: Oh guys what are the most popular tv shows,
Writer 2: Crime like The Wire & CSI
Writer 3: Law series Law and Order & Boston Legal surely
Producer: Lets combine them both
Ps: It's 7 season long with 24 episodes 45-55 minutes long. Will take a while. However if you have lots of time to burn hey. This is the one.
SUITS
While running from a drug deal gone bad, Mike Ross, a brilliant young college-dropout, slips into a job interview with one of New York City's best legal closers, Harvey Specter. Tired of cookie-cutter law school grads, Harvey takes a gamble by hiring Mike on the spot after he recognizes his raw talent and photographic memory. Mike and Harvey are a winning team. Even though Mike is a genius, he still has a lot to learn about law. And while Harvey may seem like an emotionless, cold-blooded shark, Mike's sympathy and concern for their cases and clients will help remind Harvey why he went into law in the first place. Mike's other allies in the office include the firm's best paralegal Rachel and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna to help him serve justice. Proving to be an irrepressible duo and invaluable to the practice, Mike and Harvey must keep their secret from everyone including managing partner Jessica and Harvey's arch nemesis Louis, who seems intent on making Mike's life as difficult as possible.
