3D Animation/Rig Setup Tutorial - Making the Hell Hound - Episode 6 - The Blender action)
Hi folks welcome back to another fun episode. In this episode I go over waiting your mesh so that you can move it with the armature. This is one of the funner Parts but it also takes a long time.
Okay let's go ahead and get started.
1.Select the mesh. (Note: Make sure you are out of edit mode for this.)
2.Shift select the Armature.
3.Press Ctrl p.
4.Select with automatic weights
At this point you've just set up the automatic weights for your mesh and the Armature to work together with each other.
You should be able to move the Armature in the mesh will move with it.
1.Move the Armature.
2.Look for unwanted movement on the mesh while moving the Armature.
From here we move into weight paint mode to allow us to clean up unwanted movement.
1.Select the mesh.
2.Change your editor over to weight paint mode.
3.Red indicates a 100% weight.
4.Yellowish orange indicates about 75% weight.
5.Green is about 50% weight.
6.Light blue it's about 15 to 25% weight.
7.Dark blue is no weight 0%.
Okay at this point you got the weight idea down let's move into working with the brush.
1.This is where you can select the brush you want to use to do your weight painting.
2.This is where you can adjust the weight radius and strength of your brush.
That's about it for this episode thank you for watching. It's going to take me a few days to get the waiting situated for the hellhound. When we come back we'll be jumping into actual animation.
As usual I will put a link to my other episodes down below.
