Mining overview

Hello steemit,

Today i discovered that it is possible to mine for SP, the process nice, i was just surprised to see that it is a node blockchain, and that apparently all the platform is built on JavaScript, i really love this language, so i enjoy even more this project.

Right now i am syncing the blockchain, then i will do some benchmarks, but it looks like to be promising. My CPU supports hyper threading, it means that the number of theorical cores is higher then physical onces. So if you have 4 cores who supports hyper threading, then it means that (usually) you have 8 theorical cores, and it is great for mining.

I hope that it will be enough to generate some SP. I've found also that it depends on RAM, i still don't undestand why, but i will have a look at this after the benchmarks. However i believe that do to it's nature (JavaScript) the blockchain may have to be stored in RAM ( it would be strenge if true ).
