Blender Basics - Controls
Welcome in my first steemit tutorial!
Today we will be using Blender, so we should learn some basic controls and how to use them.
Here we go!
When we start Blender for the first time, we will see the default grey cube. To look around it we must know how to rotate view. We're doing that by pressing MMB and moving mouse.
To zoom in and out we are using MMB too, but this time just rotate forward and backward.
Last really good tip for navigating in Blender is "pan". With key combination SHIFT + MMB (pressed) we are able to move our view in straight lines.
So now take a look at selecting things. In Blender (and probably only in Blender) RMB is selection key. When you select any object, a little outline will appear around it.
Left Mouse Button is reserved for interactions like moving, rotating and scaling objects.
To change translation mode (move, rotate, scale), you can press this little buttons on the bottom.
But how to add new objects to the scene? It's simple, open Add menu and select Mesh, now simply choose one of them. When you click, new object will appear in the veiwport.
So that's it for this tutorial. As you can see it's very simple and should be easy to learn. In the next post we will see how edit mode works.

See you in the next tutorial.
