Unpublished photo, morrocoy (Chelonoidis carbonaria) and its eggs.
This photo of my morrocoy (red-legged turtle) is from the month of December. After almost two hours making the nest with its hind legs, "Sol" expelled twelve eggs and buried them.
Now we have to wait for the little turtles to come out of the nest.
