The Art of Moving the Soul, Turntablism

Turntablism- is the art of manipulating sounds and creating new music, sound effects, mixes and other creative sounds and beats, typically by using two or more turntables and a cross fader-equipped DJ mixer.

I remember I was 15 years old, I was introduced to the art of mixing all types of Genres of music. A friend of mine called me over to play some pool, and he had a Dj system playing the music. I then began to use the set-up he already had and became very interested in playing with the system. So it all began...I got me a job unloading containers just that I can raise enough money to buy my own set-up. I eventually did just that and the rest is history.

I started playing backyard boogies and then eventually ended up in the club scene sneaking into clubs at just 17 yrs old. I was playing at any event I was being booked at. This was in early 2008-2012. Now, you don't need to be a good Dj to play anywhere.
