Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 were hosted by the iftar at a citizen's home in the capital Ankara.

This is not the first time President Erdogan has met the invitations of some residents to break their fast at their house during Ramadan. Erdogan and his wife have also long sparked an iftar event on the streets of Istanbul, where the rich and poor meet in a table to share and break their fast together.
