The 3 Reward Types In TTC's Protocol.

The idea of getting reward for using a social media have not fully sink into my mind, like most people it has always been the other way round. Social network for us has always been a platform where we build our digital  life. We populate our social profile with content not because we have to but because we want to create a very rich digital profile and most of the time we do it at a great cost.

Currently, anything you do on social media say uploading a personal video, sharing a picture or even writing a post has no significant gain to you, i know most people will say it increases their social influence. yes, but to what extent, most of our activities can only be appreciated by the small circle of mutual friends we have on the platform, our activity and content has a great impact to the platform. For example without users uploading and sharing stuffs on Facebook do you honestly think it will have the level of influence it does. In truth  the users are the engine that keeps a social platform running and yet in current social platform users are not valued.

When i first heard of the reward system of TTC protocol  i knew at that instant, they've got the right tool to create a great social network. For me social network should be a platform where you get rewarded for creating content and engaging with the system  not some platform where you hustle to create content without getting reward.

TTC Protocol is a decentralized and token-incentivized social networking protocol for the next-gen social platforms. Social network users are rewarded for generating, distributing, and interacting with other users and their content. By combining the TTC Protocol’s token based incentive mechanism together with the distribution of user-generated data, the TTC Protocol itself is controlled by each end user. As the total number of users grow, the TTC Protocol becomes more valuable, and the commercial value of the TTC token increases.

Rewards in TTC protocols powered social platform are divided into three types. Namely:

Content reward 

This is the reward that is given to users who create high quality content, and users who interact with content by liking, commenting, sharing, or reporting it. Content value is determined by the reputation of the users who interact with it. A user’s reputation affects the value of a piece of content whenever that user likes, comments, shares, or reports it. If a user with a high reputation interacts with a piece of content, that content is given higher value and higher exposure. Additionally, content shared on other platforms is also given higher value because it’s exposure off the network increases the value of the network.

Reputation reward 

This reward is for users who constantly make contributions  by showing loyalty to the platform, consistently creating quality content, and gaining recognition from other users. A user’s reputation value begins when he or she registers. The maximum reputation value is 100. The reputation value increases quickly as new users improve their reputation, but slows down gradually as users begin reaching the upper limit.

Advertising reward 

This is a reward for users who take part in promotional activities such as watching advertisements, participating in themed campaigns, or completing customer surveys. An advertiser acquires a certain number of TTC tokens from the exchange and uses it to bid on advertising network of the TTC Protocol. The TTC tokens used in the advertisements are distributed directly to the users that view and interact with the advertisements.
