RE: Social Networks That Pay For Posts
I have used TSU for a decent amount of time. I generated about 12 bucks within one year of use. I had about 600 followers near the end of the social networks lifespan.
It was a neat idea but in practice the whole parent child thing made it into a pyramid scheme. However if you ignored that aspect all of your posts generated 45% revenue without having to gain children. That alone was a pretty decent deal.
TSU had all of the same problems I see with Steemit. Bots, and weird useless posts. A focus on posting images that dont belong to the poster.
Steemit has already been infinitely better than TSU but with that said Steemit is closer to reddit than it is to Facebook. If Steemit had a section where it was meant to be more like Facebook or Twitter with some decent UX design it would be 100% better than anything else out there. As it stands Steemit still lacks features to even just be a good version of Reddit or Voat.
