Can someone explain why these pictures make my skin crawl?

I came across a post on facebook with these pictures and it just creeped the fuck out of me. I tried researching about them but I didn't find any useful information. I did however build somewhat of a tolerance towards them and would like to know why they make me feel this way. Is some evolutionary trait or am I just being irrational?
