I know someone who lived with the Dogon group for a while and he confirmed the stories about Sirius - but I can't say for sure what the means.
I have made 2 posts on Steemit that are very relevant to this topic. The last one is the most important as it shows that the consciousness that created the ancient structures on our planet also created the shapes on Mars - plus that the ones on Mars are aligned to precisely reflect the Pleiadean star system.
The earlier is more relevant to your post as it shows a Kogi Tribesman showing he knows about a particular star that only became visible to astronomers on Earth using the hubble telescope.
We have much to learn!
So much, the history of the solar system and 'prophets' accounts of visits to the planets and visitations here are in many of the redacted books of the bible. I'm convinced all the evidence is out there to be collated.
