You should do an official "introduceyourself" post tagged in that category.
That could get you some more attention starting out.
Also, does your wife have an account yet?

Careful with reposting.
There are certain bots that watch for that.
I would do a different version of it and tag it with "introduceyourself" - "life" - "introducemyself" - "freedom" and "truth"
Share some of the same things in a different way, add a little more about yourself and add anything else that you may want to.
Those tags get watched a lot more, so you would get more votes and more followers.
Also, it is best to do an official intro post soon after showing up here.
That's just my recommendation, but I'd recommend it.
