Blessed Easter: Dear God- Thank You

Dear God – thank You.

Thank You. For filling my heart with joy when I feel so down. When I can’t seem to find my way home, You are waiting right at the door. Even when I don’t understand anything, when I am bending in the lowest point of my life, You are there. When I just don’t have enough to fight and my eyes never run dry, You are there. At times that vision gets so blurry and I can’t seem to breath, You gave me Your peace.

Thank You. For loving me unconditionally even if sometimes I can’t give a half. When I always think about myself and forget Your ultimate sacrifice, still You are there with arms open wide. For the many chances You gave me. When I can no longer face You because of guilt covering my heart, still You reach me and stand with me. For Your fresh gift of restoration and reconciliation. In my brokenness, Your love has made me whole again. You are perfect in loving me. Indeed Your love is so high, so wide, and so deep.

Thank You. For saving me from uncertainties and doubts . You taught me that Your plans and ways are greater than mine. There were times that I feel so confident and proud of myself, but You reminded me to stay on the ground and shouldn’t rely on my own understanding. Trusting You is faith.

Thank You. For teaching me that “waiting is beautiful”. For helping me to delight in You while I sit between the traffic and the ordinary sounds. I prayed for many signs but You gave me patience and joy — thank You. For making me realized that with You, beautiful things can come my way. For preparing me for greater things and for giving me hope that the best is yet to come.

Thank You. For guiding me and for showing me the way. For telling me that You know what I need. You permit me to get hurt over relationships and lose people because you exactly know who I need. You are my good shepherd who searches for me when I get lost.

Thank You. For being who You are in my life. You are always there and forever you will be. Simply thank You, because You who began a good work in me will forever be faithful enough to finish it into a perfect completion in Your time. For Your steadfast love that is new every morning. For your perfect Word that brought me through the day. For the gift of freedom so I can worship with my hands raise up to heaven embracing the fullness of Your presence.

For giving me the assurance that I am not alone in this fight. But You are with me.
When the day would come that the road before me gets rough, I know that I can always find You. Thank You.
