You shouldn't train people to trust, you should provide them with convincing reasons. Of course, with the Bible, that's not that easy...
There is no contradictory truth, convincing reasons, nor factual evidence against the Scripture of Truth, therefore you can trust in its veracity until it can be proven wrong. We will be held accountable for the truth that cannot be proven wrong whether we believe it or not.
Nope, this doesn't actually make sense. If you trust everything that has not been proven wrong yet, you have to trust in more than one holly books, in unicorns, in pixies, ferries and leprechaunts. Have any of those been disproved yet and if not wouldn't you trust them all? If you trust all claims like that, you are bound to trust contradictory things which would also mean that some or all of the things you trust are going to be false. That's why trust in unsubstatiated things cannot be warranted just by lack of evidence against them.
Basically, you are mistaken about how one goes about establishing what's reasonable to trust or believe. To establish something is true you need evidence or reasons for, not lack of evidence against. It's a very important difference.
Well, that doesn't seem to be the case either. First of all, the Bible is full of internal contradictions. For instance, can you tell me in what order were birds, trees, animals and man created? Because the first and the second chapter of Genesis disagree. The examples of such contradictions are quite plentiful.
Additionally, there are obvious inaccuracies like the claim that the mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, like the claim that rabbits chew the cud, like describing the sky as a solid dome, like claiming a star could fall to Earth from the sky despite the fact that stars are light years away and much larger than Earth and so on.
How do you know that? Or how do you know what "truth" to trust? Maybe the truth is in the Quran and you will be held accountable for trusting the wrong book.
First of all it would be unjust for God to hold a man accountable for knowing the truth and not believing it if they did not have the ability to reason with their hearts to know what is truth and what is not. God gave every man a heart to reason with to know what truth is and what is contrary to the truth.
Therefore, The Scriptures of Truth will be the basis of judgment for every man on Judgment Day. I suggest that you read it more intently to make sure that your prejudiced beliefs against God's Word are absolute and not just based on hearsay of intellectual fools that call themselves wise.
You alone are responsible for your beliefs, and no one else. God Almighty will hold you accountable for what you believe, not me, not your parents, nor anybody else, and He will recompense you according to your decisions and actions, which are the product of your beliefs. Every word and every action will be brought to your remembrance when you stand before Him.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. (Matthew 12:36)
If you choose to believe lies against His eternal truth that cannot change and cannot be contradicted by reason nor factual evidence you will suffer His wrath and punishment for choosing to believe lies and reject the truth of what you do know. You already know enough for God to condemn you eternally for not seeking Him. You are without excuse!
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:20)
There are absolutely no contradictions in Scripture. Almighty God was not confused when He chose holy men to inspire them what to write. You are confused, because of your limited knowledge of the Scriptures. Your ignorance of Scripture are the reason for your prejudiced beliefs against it, and your misunderstanding of it. Stop letting other people do your thinking for you. How many times have you read the Scriptures for yourself from cover to cover? If you haven't read it even once, you are foolish to form any opinion of it. I have been reading it every day for over 30 years without fail even one day, and I still learn from it. You will not find the truth hidden in Scripture until you humble yourself and ask God Himself to reveal the truth in His Word to you.
And Jesus answering said unto them, Do you not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? (Mark 12:24)
No man will ever find God by their own intellectual logic. He draws men to Himself by the Law of Conscience and Reason in their hearts. However, only if they choose to humble themselves, and ask, seek, and knock they will find Him and understand the truths hidden in His Word. He promised it, and He cannot lie and still be the God of Truth.
That he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. (Isaiah 65:16)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)
