Continuing on with our series on the Nine Noble Virtues, today we are talking about truth.
We live in a world filled with fake news bots, fake news humans, a world where the media controls the government, and a world were globalization is somehow beneficial to humanity. So you may ask yourself what does the truth matter anymore anyway?
Well, let me tell you the importance of truth. A man is only worth what he says. The words we speak are a direct reflection of our thoughts, therefore we use speech as a way to manifest our reality as it is perceived it within ourselves.
Once our truth has been violated, meaning once we speak lies, or gossip, our reputation as noble women and men is gone. When our word is meaningless, what does that say about our mind or, if you will, our soul?
The old saying goes “find your ears before you search for your words”. Our words are sacred, use them to help rebuild our broken society. Use them to teach your children about love, respect, kindness, and honor. Speak good of people and motive them to be great, as they were born to be.
It is no accident that we exist in this time and place, so choose your words wisely and act in a conscious manner. Search for the truth within yourself, and then you will be able to see it clearly around you. Most importantly, try to speak the truth and speak out against those who try and corrupt it.
Today we face many invisible enemies, and no I'm not talking about demons or the devil, I'm talking about invisible politicians who are working against humanity. They are spreading lies about our identities as individuals and working to convince us that we are something we are not.
Don't become a mouthpiece for these enemies of humanity. Don't allow yourself to speak their lies. Search for the truth inside you. You already know who you are and what is right in this world, so act on it. The same people speaking about love and tolerance are the ones forcing the destruction of our people, and the destruction of all people.
What lies are they telling you where you live? Are they saying that you are not responsible enough to have children without the help and aid of the government? Are they telling you that children no longer need traditional families to grow into healthy adults? Are they telling you to accept and appreciate weakness by encouraging participation in laziness, over indulgence, and consumerism? Let me know.

Where I live in the US, basically everything we are told is either an outright lie or a lie by omission/half truth...
The biggest lie we are told is what a “person” is and the biggest lie we are never told is what a “legal person” is.
Yes, that is really concerning then they can say what a person is not.

It's not my quote. I'm taking from the many wise beings before me. I believe in the above quote. If you can lie you can make up virtues that isn't there and deny ones that are actually present. When you can fake something, the interest for the real thing is lost. Saddest part is that the good guys too succumb to this saying "it's just the way things are" and bribe and do ass kissing left and right. Then it spreads to their kids and their kids and things get worse by the generation.
So true and it reminds me of a quote from the book kite runner. And I'm paraphrasing this ”the only sin in life is theft. When you lie you steal the truth, when you cheat you steal trust, when you murder you steal life, and so on” awesome song!

This is a great piece and certainly there wouldn't have been any better way to start up my day on Steem.
I would say we live in a fake world or a simulation of the real world where everyone is aware of what is right and wrong but most people choose to hide behind the Truth.
Yes, this is 💯 correct.
Also, I will to add marginalization to your points. We never get to see this as a major problem but it is one related to Truth.
My country (Cameroon) has been unrest for over 2 years because of people from against marginalization.

Politician of my country are fully corrupt . for the politics they are not even respecting their blood relations too.
Once you got corrupt, I guess you start assuming that everybody else is corrupt, untruthful and low moral standards .
We still have people that work for good for others without any personal gain. Fight against good and bad will always continue and oce you slip the path then it is very difficult to get back in the the track.
On one hand, we are so lucky to have so much technology in our lives to learn and evolve on the other hand its a very dangerous weapon for those with power.

what you say is true. We as human beings must be able to hold our words. Then we must be able to state the truth the right way so that we can be trusted by people. if in the sentence that comes out of our mouth in the form of a lie then there will be no believer who is deceived and hasn't realized it. once they realize it will collapse what they believe in our words.
in this modern era, of course we cannot escape from social media that is so like hoax and rely on the meaning of unlimited freedom. As a result we often lose control can not choose and know what is right and what is hoax.
for this reason, we need carefulness in social media so as not to fall prey. Likewise, when state control is too tight so that in some countries the freedom of expression is lost. this must also be treated well. So I really agree with what you say.

Yes! And you are right when it comes to social media we must be especially careful. It is easy to be caught up in the latest craze and it may be hard to determine what the truth actually is. For example, people may share a photo that isn't exactly telling the whole story! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment!

I do not know which country you live but I live in Brazil. and the things here walk in the same rhyme as you can see in the text above. and all the time politicos and media trying to manipulate us, here they dictate, that omo sexualismo has to be heightened, and you be one against your will, try to all the time demean, men. this is politics of esqueda where is underpinned by the disguised communism.
I am living in Germany and the same thing is taking place here. There is also a war being waged on women here (native women) where the portray them in such a way to inspire hatred from men... The try to encourage promiscuity and childish behavior. Thanks for the comment I am glad to hear from you!
