RE: cognitive switch! And a corrupt medical system!

in #trust5 years ago

Back before I had my gallbladder out the doctor prescribed antiacid thinking that may be causing the problem. What he prescribed was the PPI type which studies were saying that prolong use could lead to kidney failure. I asked him about it and he said it was such a low dose it wouldn't have an effect then he went on to add that we all die of something someday. No I didn't fill the prescription.

There really are so many interactions and negative effects, people really need to look at the studies themselves and the interactions with other medications or dietary constraints an individual may be on. Relying on your Doctor or Pharmacologist to tell you this pill is safe in this dosage for you, will only lead to more pills to counter the effects of the new pill you had to take. Thus you have people at the pharmacy picking up 10 to 20 pills to take on a daily basis, not for me no thanks. How ever when if you have complications from the drug there is no one to sue or get recompense from because you were warned of the possible side effects and you chose to take the pill.

I have had so many pills prescribed and doctors still try to give me pills for this or that issue. Any one that has had any type of cancer for example should think very very hard about any of the hormone replacement pills for thyroid mal-function. If they are not safe for a woman that has had breast cancer, why should I as a man think they are safe for an individual that had lung cancer.

You sound like me, I refuse all pills and never get ill. Strange hey.
