What's at Stake: Impeachment of Trump or Survival of the Rule of Law?

  Do not confuse defense of the President with defense of what remains of Rule of Law. In this one instance, they are the same.   
  Partisan impeachment of any president, based on hearsay, with nicely-sprinkled references to the Constitution and the Founders, is clearly Banana Republic Theatrics and a grave danger to the stability of the US.   
  Many, on both sides, are already talking about Civil War, its flames fanned yesterday when HRC said Trump is "waging war on democracy..." Likewise when she referred to half of the population of the US as "deplorables"... Those were and are dangerous words for one who imagines herself to be a "leader".
  This is not about Trump or his personality or his past. It is about senior government officials taking the law into their own hands. It has been happening for decades and this land should be returned to its PEOPLE via complete disclosure and transparency. It is the "secrecy" referred to by JFK shortly before he was murdered that has brought the US to this precipice.
