Release The Memo or Not Release The memo--That Is The Question

in #trump7 years ago

Many Americans have gotten caught up, once again, by another politrick happening. That politrick falls in the potential release of a GOP created FBI/DOJ memo. As a libertarian conservative warmonger, I have questions pertaining the release of such memo.

First, what will the release of this memo do for the American people?

Will it bring us confidence or less confidence of the US government and its institutions? Will it demonstrate the willingness from the Executive Branch to help “drain the swamp” as promised? Or, will all of these things backfire and continue to push the American divide?

I do not have answers to the aforementioned questions and yet at the same time, I do not believe any of them are truly prevalent. But what is prevalent is uncovering some of the below questions and seeking answers.

Why?

If you really want to know the problem with today’s US government, you really do not need to focus on the top political appointees but rather their subordinates whom hold a great deal of power few realize.

So, let me ask….

1. Who were the agents that first discovered the Reasonable Suspicion to forego continued investigations to uncover the Probable Cause AND what were they doing at the time which led to the initial reasonable suspicion?

2. Did the initial agents who uncovered the reasonable suspicion stay on the case during the transition of probable cause investigation and if not, who took over (must ask because agents often are replaced during high sensitive investigations-- just look at the FBI Agents and the rotation during the Raven 23 investigation)

3. Who was the SAC that initially oversaw the initial two phases of this investigation and did said SAC stay on the case throughout? If not, who was his/her replacement?

4. Upon identifying Probable Cause, which US Circuit Court blessed off the FISA Warrant to continue with the investigation, who was the Judge (and his/her staff) and who was the DA (and his/her investigators)?

These are questions I have and continue to look at to better understand the reality of this situation because, the highest of heads in the FBI at the time may or may not have had their hands in any of this initially--INITIALLY.

But in answering these questions, it would be relatively easy to uncover whether any of this was a “Directed Operation” from the top. And, even if it was a directed operation, field agents are still bound to abide by the law and have every right to refuse an order if they believe the order is unlawful.

Here is my point: Everyone wants to go after the top heads in government departments HOWEVER, what few realize is, there are mid-level and upper management personnel who hold power to make things happen (right or wrong) and they need to be looked at very carefully—especially those who believe they are protected by tenure.

This is part of the problem within the Federal LE and IC dilemma….

If people really want to "drain the swamp" in America’s Government, they must realize how deep the swamp really is for it is not just the surface level needing to be cleaned.

Next to US INS (before it became ICE), I would say the FBI is full of some of the most "abuse power" individuals on numerous levels-- i.e. junior, mid, and upper management within the US Fed.

So does this Memo really matter?

No matter the political isle one sits, the answer is a big fat NO!
