CNS Exclusive - Rod Rosenstein Thanks President Trump For His Support
William Southold, The Southold Report
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, sought to raise the spirits of his audience at a closed, off the record, capstone event at the recent Aspen Security Forum held in Aspen, CO. His audience was limited to Intelligence Community personnel, according to an attendee who wished to remain anonymous.
Mr. Rosenstein, in a somewhat “jovial manner”, stated that there are currently two active investigations being conducted by Special Counsel Mueller - the first to look into any Russian interference in our elections, and the second, to identify any “witches who wear wigs”.
“So, definitely,” Mr. Rosenstein stated,“we thank the President, if I heard him correctly, for calling attention to the hard working members of our community who are conducting their investigation into the occult. Noting that possibly due to his intense travel schedule combined with all the criticism the president has been under lately, he might have misspoken, or possibly misspelled in a hastily written tweet, the title of the second Mueller investigation when he referred to it as a “Rigged Witch Hunt”.
Mr. Rosenstein continued, “We at the FBI and in the Intelligence Community as a whole, wish President Trump an extended time of calm waters ahead, and hopefully some well needed rest. We value greatly his support as we continue our efforts to protect America.”
