Now the real fun begins...
Historically the Party in power will lose the House and sometimes the Senate. The an exception was Bush 2 right after 9/11. The President knows this. So he "convinces" come congressman and women who are under the thumb of The Deep State to not seek reelection. For those who refuse he leaves hanging in the breeze to be knocked off in the elections.
He puts all his efforts into the Senate. He will need the Judges in the future to begin the return to the run of law. He will need also to make sure any new Cabinet members can not be stopped. With the weak Republican Senators gone (Flack et. al.) he will have more reliable Senators who will not fight him.
With the Courts, the Military and the Senate behind him the Democrats taking of the House is a Platonic victory.
With the suborned and unreliable Republicans out of the way, he can now take the fight to Congress. He couldn't do that while Congress was under the control of the Deep State Republicans. Now the Deep State Democrats are a whole different ballgame. He has the same dirt on them as he had on members of his own party.
