OK, so it's my very first post! 😂 and I thought I shared a very personal experience!..

Story time! 🤗

Aside from the fact that this is a real and true personal experience, this also just happened like....today! #bummer!

Here it goes... So, I had this very good friend I thought I knew... I actually did think I knew him #you know🤔. We've been chatting for some time now. I actually took him to be a real G! Kind hearted and all. ...i really didn't know I was just digging a trap for myself. Not like I had feelings or so, I liked him for he was kind hearted. At least, I thought he was😨!

We got talking and became good friends and I just trusted him immediately #my mistake yo!
OK. So I'm chatting with this dude and all and he tells me "hey dear, I'd be getting some items from my family back in Nigeria and I'd love to get for you too"
By the way, I forgot to mention.... He's Nigerian (Prolly), at least that's what he told me! But he's based in the United States of America...he told me that too! 🙃

Back to the story! So I'm like "Oh! Not necessary " but he insists. So I decided to just let him do his thing although, I won't lie I was pretty much excited about it!
I didn't much bother myself about it though... He told me he was going to shop yesterday and let me know when he's sent it to Nigeria. I shrugged at it.

I wake up this morning so fulfilled and happy about my day. I brush, take a shower, dress up and head to my day's function...
So I'm in my venue attending to the day's work and some hours after I get a message saying..
"Dear Esther Richard Asikpo, your parcel has just arrived our company, sent from Mr. Samuel Ajayi from United States of America to you, tracking number 70758412. Please kindly come to our office address: Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport FCT, Abuja, American flight code, AA001, if you prefer home delivery, you can call our air cargo customer representative on +2349023853661"

Yo! So I'm so amazed at the message but at the same time skeptical. I decided to see if I could get a friend staying in Abuja to check the parcel out as I'm presently in Akwa Ibom. Well... It wasn't successful!!!

Although I found a friend and she went to the airport to try check for it, it still wasn't successful yo! Cos she was with her dad and trying to reach the so - called representative was futile!

So I'm here stuck. Wondering what I do next... I immediately chatted my friend Samuel telling him I just received a message from the courier express service. He askes me to call them up and get back to him. I immediately do so.

So I'm on the phone with the representative... Or wait!, he even called before I did, asking if I got their message and I'm like "yeah"... And he's like "why haven't I called them back to make enquiries about my goods"?
And I'm like "been busy! "
So he then gives me a run down of their service... Saying I should come to the airport with 2 passports and my international identification card. So, I tell him I'm not in Abuja and he says, to send the goods down to me will cos me to be charged. Saying sending the items via DHL flight which will take 2 hours will cost ₦27000, via Fed Ex ₦23000 and via road ₦19000 all this with customary fee charge of ₦7500...

Mmmm.... So, there I was shocked and speechless!

............to be continued!!
