Executive Orders

In 1962, President Kennedy issued Executive Order 11030 called “Preparation, presentation, filing, and publication of Executive orders and proclamations” outlining rules for executive orders.

In 2006, President George W. Bush issued Executive Order 13403 to change the left-hand margin on all future executive orders to be 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch as specified in Executive Order 11030.

In 2014, President Obama saw that President George W. Bush only changed the numbers from “1 1/2” to “1” and forgot to change “inches” to “inch” so he issued another executive order to fix that.
