Random Fact

I like to collect random facts. Here is one.Until relatively recently, it was believed that praying mantises were unable to hear as their ears couldn't be found. However, it turned out that scientists were looking in the wrong place! The praying mantis actually has one single ear and it is located right in the middle of its chest. Despite having one ear, its ability to hear sounds is well beyond that of a human, although they cannot discriminate the direction of a sound, nor its frequency. They are the only animal in the world that is known to have just one ear.

I had about forty pages of these facts saved in a word document that then became unreadable. If I save my random facts here, they will always be accessible, but then you're probably not interested in them anyway, so I probably won't. We will see. Half the time I don't think anyone is listening anyway.
