Strawberry Picking In Asuka, Nara

Hello everyone,

Fruit picking is an activity that Japanese and the tourists are interested in. Each season has different fruits such as grapes, cherries, oranges, strawberries, etc.

On the weekend my friend and I went to do strawberry picking at Asuka in Nara. There are about 10 strawberry farms. We booked our tickets online so we got a discount of 100 yen off the usual price of 1,500 yen per 30 minutes.

Matsunoen Farm

This farm has 2 places. First we visited the original place but it was crowded so the staff advised us to visit the second place. The farm is quite big and has many big strawberries.

After you pay for the entrance ticket, you pick your scissors and enjoy all you can eat.

This strawberry is as big as my hand.

If you want to take them home, it's 300 grams for 450 yen. You can feel free to pick strawberries.

Before heading back home, don't forget to take photos.
