Do you accept donations for your music? I am the same as you in that regard i struggle to accept money in this way for 'lightwork', however, I read this somewhere and i cant remember where, possibly the Law of One books, that for true balance some form of exchange is needed, money is energy and that is one form, or a gift, or a favour etc. One thing lightworkers struggle to accept is that they are not only here for others, they are here on their own journeys too, and often learning to accept in return is difficult.
On the flip side of that I always try to ensure that i reciprocate good deeds, good work etc etc. I feel awkward taking money for my own work, but i also feel awkward not giving anything in return if i have benefited from from someone else's work. Rather hypocritical ? ha
I think having had times in my life where i literally had 20 pence to my name, I despise the thought that many many people only offer their 'light' for financial rewards, often much out of reach to those who would truly truly benefit from it the most, and i do not want to be one of those. But i do need to eat, and pay my bills etc.
So accepting donations, basically covers all of the above. It does not exclude anyone who is unable to pay. It does not make people who like to give back feel awkward, thus reducing resistance to the information/light you are transmitting! And it also helps you cover your needs so you can keep shining!
I of course accept donations, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. My hope is that one day the equalizing energy exchange comes in the form of a very large donation, that will help fund all my future musical projects. I rarely ever get donations however, almost never, but I have received a couple.
ah good im glad to hear you do! And a bit surprised to hear that you don't get that many. Yea a big donation would set you up! I am trying to project that to manifest for you through the screen!! haha. Maybe it will help.
All in due time, I think it will happen when I have a bit more content published, likely after I complete the mix tape I am currently working on, and a second album.
beautiful read elamental! Totally dig that you channel your gifts into music.. which might be one of the greatest gifts that we have to soothe our souls and get our message out!

I very much feel your pain on accepting money I however see a balanced exchange between consenting adults as a fundamental right, and this platform is the perfect vehicle for that. So please try and be easier on yourself, when you inspire others through your soul filled work it is the natural cosmic order to give love in return. I think you might enjoy the work of Walter Russell who is an illuminate by any standard I can judge his actions by.

I never thought of the term 'light-worker' before... and yes, I think I agree with your take on that. There is the implication that it's 'work', and I'd say that most of the people we describe wouldn't even consider it 'work' by any standards.
Light-warrior seems a bit martial for my tastes, although I completely get it, and is a good reference.
I wonder if the term 'creator/creatrix' wouldn't simply describe these kinds of people....?
Light warrior is pretty well established in my conscious circles, and I see where you are coming from, but the warrior word is necessary since we are in fact fighting a war here... I just chose to acknowledge that, some do not want to believe it.
