I Who Has Nothing Then But Look Where I Am Now

Hi there good day co Steemians. This article i want to share is about the story of those people that once struggle to survive and now rose to become rich and famous. The story about people from rags to riches, who they are and how can they inspire and motivate us and learned a lesson from them to grab the opportunity of a lifetime they are enjoying, this is a real life true story of such celebrity. Let us start with Miss Oprah Winfrey, of course who will not know her, she has her own television show "Oprah prime time"and i know that some of you have known and heard about her but have no idea of her background. Miss Oprah Gail Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi by a teenage single mother then and an unknown father because her mother was raped then and later raised in an inner city Milwaukee neighborhood. But because of her dream and perseverance to get out of such miserable life she had then. From landing a job in radio, this hard working woman who also share the same experience as her mother of being raped at such a young age, she then become an icon and now become a media proprietor, a talk show, a multi millionaire and a philanthropist. She was a nobody then when she started anchoring a talk show and being a black woman there were a lot of racism at that time. So do you have any idea who she had interviewed then, those who have been raped, those people who went through emotional trauma, those who have been divorced and those people who have attempted suicide. Oprah did change the perception of those people that she talked and inspired them to move on and rise to the occasion.

The next one is another female icon who was raised from Long Island, Huntington New York, she is no other than Mariah Carey, this New York native with a Black-Venezuelan and Irish descent was once a very poor child, she had no toys to play then and she was a semi nomadic childhood or those unfortunate people with no shelter of their own, Mariah Carey recalled back then she found her own fun by doing things like poisoning her dog and setting her parents car on fire, well i guess you don't have to imitate Mariah's behavior back then but look at her now. she was an accomplished singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, millionaire and also a philanthropist like Oprah. Well Mariah could not instantly become that successful if without hope and great aspiration, did you know when she was still in high school, she was already a good song writer and has multiple job back then, she was once have a job in a salon sweeping hair, waiting tables and checking coats however this lucky girl was destined for much bigger things in life which she currently reaps.

Another one sensational star this day, i know most of you will curse his name now but this teen sensation back way then was nearly miserably poor. Yes your guess is a s good as mine, Justin Drew Beaver. According to the teen sensation himself he grew up in a rat infested home with such an empty fridge to boast of. he sleep on a pull-out couch and lived off a diet consisting of only pasta like macaroni but you know today he's just only a member of the millionaire's club and that is a fact. While this Canadian born sensation was almost aborted by her mother back then because Justin's father left them so it left the responsibility for the single mother to raise him in a low-income housing. Because of the talent and luck of Justin he was spotted in one of the videos uploaded in you tube by talent manager Scooter Braun who arranged a meeting with entertainer Usher Raymond and after such he was offered a recording contract by record executive L.A.Reid and from thereon the rest was history who made this teen boy a very successful in recording history.

There are a lot of people like i already mentioned that rose to the occassion of becoming a successful personality, the names of Halle Berry who was then an aspiring model and actress once stayed in a homeless shelter to fend her needs as she was independent at that time and had no financial help from her parents, Snoop Dog a music icon nowadays, in his early days, he used to sell drugs to survive but now he is one of the musical industries millionaire and an inflencial personality in entertainment, the likes of Jay-Z who grew up in a family where bread is a luxury for them , Mark Walhberg who once dropped out of school and became a street thug selling drugs and use violence as his scape goat to life, Demi Moore spent part of her early years in a trailer park and had a misfortune of having an abusive drunk father, Leonardo DiCaprio who was born in Hollywood surrounded by drug dealers and prostitute, and the many other personalities twho once a pauper and has no name then became a very successful individual and very rich. All of them experienced pain and struggle before and they were once an ordinary person dreaming of becoming someone to be respected and idolized but lady luck sure smile at them they now enjoy luxury of life. The hard earned effort and eagerness of their being pave way to such a remarkable journey in their life. Those personalities achievement and their stories will be a model and inspiration to us all, to continue motivate ourself for such a dream. Just like a well known motto: Dream, Believe Achieve. We can conquer such great challenge of our life.

I hope best of luck for those who still have high hope and aspiration of becoming a respected figure and a very successful individual someday, just try to push yourself to the limit meaning you have to give your best and persevere. Do not quit while you can for a blessings will be in arms reach and that is a fact.
