NAVARATRI- THE FESTIVAL OF DURGA POOJA IN INDIA
Navaratri (literally "nine nights" and ten days) it is a hindu festival celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the India . Practically there are four season of navaratri . It is season of post monsoon festival called durga pooja. The most observed in divine feminine devi (durga) the festival celebrated in the right half of the hindu calender which falls tipically falls in month of september and october . This festival is related to dussehra .
In eastern state of India navaratri wherein godess durga battels in emerges victorious over the buffalobto help restor dharmam. In north- western state of India the festival is synonymous with "rama lila" and dussehra that celebrated as victory of battle rama to demon king ravana.
This festival celebration's includes stage decorations and chanting of scrpture of hindusim the nine days are also major crop season cultural event such competetive designs and staging of pandals . Family visits these pandal and takes blessings of Maa Durga.
Every day of this festival celebrated with the worship of nine different devi's. Day 1) Shailputri day2) Brahmcharini day3) Chandraghanta day 4) Kushmunda day5)Skandmata day 6)Katyayani day7) Kalratri day 8) Mahagauri day 9) sidhidhatri.
