Steemit Daily Top 10 Trending - 20.02.2018
These are the Daily Top 10 Trending posts on Steemit.
But why is this important?
It forms a history of what was deemed important enough to be included in the first posts new visitors see on the Steemit Platform. Yes, it's our advertising to the world so we'd better hope it's good.
But as a twist I'm also going to reveal if those posts are using self-promotion to get to the front page.
So let's jump straight into it.

Well done Steemit you've managed to curate some good content today but it's not a perfect score.
In fact while I was putting this together the @jerrybanfield post popped into my trending feed so I couldn't ignore it, because he bumped an honestly upvoted post out of the Top 10. But that's how this works.
Bad Actors take the attention away from those people that earned it.
You'll also note that excessive self-upvoting Steemians also feel a need to push themselves to the top as soon as possible.
Jerry Banfield's self-voting took place withing the first 2 hours of publishing, ensuring there is little opportunity for other curators to make a little money from upvoting his post.
