Off Duty Dallas Cop shoots unarmed black man in his own home
Amber Guyer was charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting Botham Jean 26 in his own apartment. on September 6th. Jean was shot in the chest and abdomen at approximately 10pm. Amber was off duty and lives in the same apartment complex but one floor below Jean. The cop claimed that she mistakenly thought Jean's apartment was her own and thought Jean was an intruder.
We live in a violent society and white cops shooting black men has become a norm instead of outrage. Guns are too readily available and not necessary on a civilized society. Some people think that the more guns we have the safer we will be. I believe the opposite.
Botham Jean was raised in St. Lucia, he moved to the US to get his Bachelors from Harding University in Arkansas. Jean worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas.
Read this news yesterday. This is the second person she has killed. Probably walk free after this too.
Im going to post another article about this, but Amber was issued a noise complaint from her downstairs neighbor Jean.
She was acting out of spite and malice. I hope they find her guilty of murder for taking another persons life.
In America most likely because she is a caucasian woman, people will still sympathize with her. Its not a fair society. The family will get $3 million dollars in a wrongful death suit that the taxpayers of dallas will pay for.
