Kate Middleton’s Preen Dress Is Already Sold Out, Less Than 24 hours Later
After making a grand entrance in a princess-style pink Marchesa evening gown and a Lover’s Knot tiara at Wednesday’s State Banquet, last night at the Natural History Museum, Kate Middleton returned to a quietly elegant approach to occasion dressing. The Duchess of Cambridge selected a look from Preen in periwinkle blue with a boatneck silhouette and pleated skirt finish.
Less than 24 hours later, and the pretty summer dress has already sold out. It’s not the first time that pieces she’s worn by the British label have been snapped up with such speed. The asymmetric Preen dress the Duchess sported for her tour of Canada last year swiftly sold out, both in both red and black. The accessories she
chose last night were just as covetable: seventies-inspired strappy sandals from Prada and a plum-colored Jerome Rousseau clutch.
