A Chilly Tree Tuesday
Welcome My Friends
To Yet Another Tree Tuesday
I went over to the park to get a shot or two of my new favorite tree. But first, here is my old favorite tree. I have posted on it before.
They had cut it down, but I never showed the mammoth stump.
To show some scale, here I am standing on it!
The inside has some super soft white stuff.
This a pic I showed a few weeks ago again to give some scale...
Well this old pine is my new favorite tree :) I first shot it last fall. You just cannot beat that fall light!
Be sure to support a few of the other folks posting their trees. Every vote is even more important now that Steem is so low!
Thanks for stopping by!

I love your palms!
Now what kind of an opening line is that? Sheesh.
I have to admit Im a bit jealous of her coz palms are something we never see! Did you see them? You guys dont have any either, do you?

No, we don't, except for a few in big pots in hotel lobbies and the like. Imported ones standing outside and doing well start appearing about a thousand kilometers south, I think. But I'm not jealous. No, I'm not. Really.
That first picture is a really nice sunset shot through the tree limbs.
Boy, it is almost the end of Tuesday and I keep forgetting to put my link here. Orcas Island Trees
I really like the sunset viewing, how do you think my friend with the sunset at sunset that I take this friend @lightsplasher..?
Oh we are never sticklers about the clock. As they say, there is always mañana lol.
Curious. I wonder what that white stuff is. Some kind of calcium growth maybe. I will have a tree post up tomorrow and join in on the fun:)
Sweet. I put it up early for the folks in Europe if they want to put a link on it :) If I don't half the day goes by before I get it up LOL
Looks like someone left a stash of cocaine in that tree that's why the tree fell down it got to high :)))
Well enough of the sick jokes poor old tree it was a beauty !!

great tree...thanks for making us have a real experience of nature..they are so beautiful and sweet..thanks for today sir @old-guy-photos
Interesting images of that stump. Could that white substance be some kind of fungus? What does the consistency of the substance feel like in comparison to the wood of the stump?
Here in NC, we are surrounded by towering pines. Wherever I lived outside of NC, when we traveled back to NC, I always knew when we’d arrived in the state just from the smell of that Carolina pine.
Here’s a link to my TreeTuesday entry https://steemit.com/treetuesday/@momzillanc/the-elephant-tree
Very interesting elephant tree...made me wonder if the elephant therefore acts like a tree :)
LOL
Cool. Im on my way!
Very nice compilation of trees....and sunsets and moon rises. Those pines remind me of the Group of Seven artists.
What's' that white stuff inside? Some kind of natural pulp??
Here's my #treetuesday submission,🌲(click on the tree, yes really)
I like the click the tree!
Yes, it's cute right? I'll use it from now on.
