Eid with my cousins at village
Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great and staying home to stay safe from the epidemic.
After spending a couple of boring Eids away from our relatives we decided to go to our village to spend this Eid between our un)
cles, aunts and cousins.
We were very delighted and were waiting for the holidays to begin so that we could start our journey to our village. Our village is 450 kilometres from our city and it takes around 5 or 6 hours to reach our village. We had planned to leave our home after having the sehri meal. As we had planned we left our home. The weather became pleasant which made us enjoy our journey more. after driving for a couple of hours on plain terrain the mountainous terrain started. we have to pass through the world's second largest salt mines "Khewra Salt mines" on the way to our village.
After we had covered half the way we decided to stop on the highway to buy some snacks for our children and continued our journey. We reached my parents home around 12:30 at noon which is near largest man made water reservoir tarbela Dam. On our way we passed another Dam called Khanpur Dam. The water level in the dam was low. Usually when we pass through Khanpur dam we see people enjoying different kind of activities such as boating, paragliding and many people enjoying barbecue parties with their families and friends but and because of lower water level and the lock down due to the ongoing epidemic we missed what we usually used to see in previous years.
We took some rest and decided to leave to our uncles home.
