Travel Tip: Dobris, picturesque town with magnificent Rococo chateau

Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I will introduce you to one of the most beautiful little Czech towns, the picturesque town of Dobris.

Located just some 50 km (30 mi) from the Czech capital city of Prague, Dobris is home to approximately 9,000 people. The town was founded in 1252 but archaeological surveys found out that the area has been inhabited since the prehistoric times.
The most important landmark and most visited tourist attraction of Dobris is the Dobris Chateau, a magnificent Rococo chateau surrounded by vast, perfectly maintained English-style as well as French-style parks.

Situated very close the Brdy Mountains, the town is also a great base for outdoor enthusiasts as Dobris´ vicinity is covered with a dense network of excellent hiking and biking trails.

As always this tip also a great place and surrounded by mountains. This Chateau is a great piece of architecture and is greatly designed. That many numbers of windows are showing the air has been crossing into the rooms and corridors, which shows it is well designed. Thanks for sharing this tip! :)

Hi Thomas, Dobris has most adorable landscaping view. Awesomely maintained grass patterns there. Brdy Mountains increase Dobris's beauty. Tourists can be enjoy much better with relaxation background. Thanks for shared priceless travel tip again.
What a wonderful look this town has. I really like the cutting of grass, no doubt it one of the best cutting i have ever seen in my life. The town is looking but established.
That's so beautiful small town in Czech republic. It has wonderful creativity. Otherwise nice to hear peoples can be fun with outdoor activities like as hiking and biking trails.

It is an amazing place and it is nice to see that you chosen it as you travel tip. The front lawn is really good and artistic. The person who designed it has a great vision. The building architecture is also spectacular due to its design and the colors.
